Securely anchored, natural-looking

Implantology

An implant is more than just a dental prosthesis. It is a permanent solution that feels just like a natural tooth—functional, aesthetic, and designed to last a lifetime.

What is a dental implant?

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root made of biocompatible titanium that is placed in the jawbone. It provides a stable foundation for a crown, bridge, or denture. Unlike traditional dental restorations, an implant does not put stress on the adjacent teeth and helps preserve the jawbone over the long term. The result: a tooth that feels and looks just like your own.

Single implant

For a single missing tooth, an implant is the best solution. It is placed without the need to grind down the adjacent teeth and offers a natural appearance and full chewing function.

Multiple Implants & Bridges

If several teeth are missing, a few strategically placed implants can support a fixed bridge. We plan the optimal number and placement—for maximum stability with minimal intervention.

Implant-Supported Denture

For patients who have lost all their teeth, implant-supported dentures provide a secure fit and significantly improve quality of life compared to removable dentures.

Immediate Implant

In appropriate cases, the implant can be placed immediately after tooth extraction—fewer procedures, shorter treatment time, and faster results.

Consulting & Diagnostics

We analyze your bone using digital 3D X-rays and discuss all your options openly with you.

1

Digital Planning

The implant's position, angle, and size are planned precisely on the computer—for a precise, safe result.

2

Implantation

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, gently and according to plan. Most patients find it straightforward.

3

Healing Phase & Treatment

The implant fuses with the jawbone—depending on the situation, this takes 2–4 months. Once healing is complete, the custom ceramic crown is placed. Done.

Frequently Asked Questions

1Who is a good candidate for implants?
In general, this is suitable for any adult with sufficient bone mass. During a consultation, we’ll assess your individual situation—even in cases of bone loss, there are often solutions, such as undergoing bone augmentation beforehand.
2Is the implantation procedure painful?
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and is significantly less uncomfortable than most patients expect. Mild swelling or a feeling of pressure in the first few days is normal.
3How long does an implant last?
With regular care and follow-up visits, implants generally last a lifetime. The crown on top is replaced after about 15–20 years.
4Does health insurance cover the costs?
Statutory health insurance plans cover a fixed subsidy for the crown—the cost of the implant itself is a private service billed according to the GOZ. We will provide you with a detailed treatment and cost plan in advance. Many supplemental insurance plans reimburse implant costs in part or in full.
