Transparency in Billing

We place great importance on transparent communication—especially when it comes to costs. Before any more extensive treatment, you will receive a detailed treatment and cost plan.

Fee Schedule for Dentists

Dental services are billed according to the Fee Schedule for Dentists (GOZ). It governs the fees for private patients, self-pay patients, and the copayment for patients with public health insurance. The service rate is calculated as follows: number of points × point value × adjustment factor. The current point value is 5.62421 cents (as of 2026). The adjustment factor ranges from 1.0 to 3.5—a factor of 2.3 is considered the standard rate.

Frequently Asked Questions

1How do I make an appointment?
Book directly through Doctolib on our website—24/7, with no waiting on hold. Please select the correct reason for your visit so we can schedule enough time for you.
2What should I bring to my first appointment?
Health insurance card and any existing dental X-rays.
3I'm afraid of the dentist. Can you help me?
Yes. We take dental anxiety seriously. Please feel free to talk to us openly—we’ll take as much time as you need, explain every step, and, if you’d like, use special relaxation techniques.
4Do you treat children as well?
Yes. We are happy to treat children ages 4 and up.
5How much does a professional teeth cleaning cost?
Professional teeth cleaning is a service not covered by statutory health insurance and is not reimbursed by it. Depending on the extent of the treatment, the cost ranges from 80 to 150 euros. Many private supplemental insurance plans cover the cost—check with your insurance provider.
6I'm enrolled in the public health insurance system—can I still take advantage of private supplemental benefits?
Yes. Many of our services—such as high-quality ceramic fillings, veneers, or teeth whitening—are available to patients with public health insurance who pay out of pocket. We provide a transparent cost estimate in advance.
7How does billing work for private patients?
After your treatment, you will receive an invoice based on the GOZ, which you can submit to your private health insurance provider. Please check your insurance policy to determine the reimbursement amount.
8Are there any parking spaces nearby?
There are numerous street parking spaces available around the office. There is also a paid parking lot directly across the street.
